The 'Namgis First Nation is a band located on the northern Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada, and on adjoining islands in the southern Queen Charlotte Strait region. The band's territory spans the islands of the southern Queen Charlotte Strait. The main village of the 'Namgis is Yalis, on Cormorant Island adjacent to Alert Bay. As of June 2021, the Nation had a total of 1,919 registered members, including 900 residing on their own reserve.
