The Sinixt are a First Nations People in British Columbia, Canada. The Sinixt are of Salishan linguistic extraction, and speak their own dialect (sn-selxcin) of the Colville-Okanagan language. The Sinixt today live primarily on the Colville Indian Reservation in Washington. However, a few Sinixt live in their traditional territory on the "Canadian side" of the 49th parallel, and those who do so live in Vallican in the Slocan Valley, or scattered throughout neighbouring lands in British Collumbia.
