The Ahousaht First Nation is a band on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. The Ahousaht is 1 of 14 Nuu chah Nulth Nations and is a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council. The band is the most populous First Nation on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The Ahousaht people speak the Nuu chah Nulth language with different dialects. As of June 2021, the Nation has a total of 2,213 registered members, including 737 residing on their own reserve.
