Barren Lands First Nation is a band located on the north shore of Reindeer Lake in northern Manitoba. It has one territory called Brochet 197, which is 4339.40 hectares in size and adjoins the village of Brochet, Manitoba. The Cree and Dene languages are spoken by the people of the band. As of May 2021, the total registered members of Barren Lands First Nation was 1,199, with 457 members living on their own reserve. The First Nation is affiliated with the Keewatin Tribal Council.
