Bear River First Nation is a Míkmaq First Nations band located in both Annapolis County and Digby County, Nova Scotia. Bear River First Nation lies adjacent to the village of Bear River. The band has three reserves; Bear River 6 , Bear River 6A, and Bear River 6B. The people's native language is Mi'kmaq. As of August 2021, the Nation had 368 registered members, including 114 residing on their own reserve.
