The Bloodvein First Nation is a band located on the east side of Lake Winnipeg, along the Bloodvein River in Manitoba, Canada. It is in the Treaty 5 area. The Bloodvein River is located in one of the largest remaining intact boreal forest regions of the world. The First Nation has reserved for itself the Bloodvein 12, an area of 3,885 acres. It is a member of the Southeast Resource Development Council and the primary language spoken by the people is Saulteaux. As of May 2021, the First Nation had a registered population of 1,933, with 1,155 members living on their own reserve.
