The Chawathil First Nation or Chawathil Indian Band is a band of the Sto:lo people located in the Upper Fraser Valley region near Hope, British Columbia, Canada. It is a member of the Stó:lō Tribal Council. The First Nation's main reserve Chawathil 4 is located by Katz, a station of the Canadian Pacific Railway, and comprises almost 90% of its total land base of 614.1 ha (1517 acres). Its other reserves are Hope 1, Schkam 2, Greenwood Island 3, and Tunnel 6. As of June 2021, the Nation has a total of 646 registered members, including 300 residing on their own reserve.
