About
Cumberland House Cree Nation is a Swampy Cree First Nations band in Saskatchewan, Canada. Formerly known as the Cumberland House Band, there are a total of five reserves designated for the Cumberland House Cree Nation. The five reserves are Budd’s Point 20 D, Cumberland House Cree Nation 20, Muskeg River 20C, Pine Bluff 20A, and Pine Bluff 20B.
The community is located on Pine Island in the Saskatchewan River delta, about 449 kilometers from Saskatoon. The population of the village and five adjoining reserves is approximately 2,000. The majority of residents are of Cree and Métis descent.
