Ebb and Flow First Nation

About

Ebb and Flow First Nation is an Anishinaabe Nation of the Treaty 2 Territory. Treaty 2 was signed on August 21st, 1871. The band is located on Ebb and Flow Lake after which it is named. It is about 180 km from Winnipeg, and lies on the west side of Lake Manitoba, on Highway 278. The reserve is known as Ebb and Flow 52. It is surrounded by the Rural Municipality of Alonsa. As of June 2021, the Nation has a total of 3,268 registered members, including 1,870 living on their own reserve.
