The Esk'etemc First Nation, also known as the Alkali Lake Indian Band, is a First Nation of the Secwepemc (Shuswap) people, located at Alkali Lake in the Cariboo region of the Central Interior of British Columbia. The band is 50km southwest of Williams Lake. In the Shuswap language, the people of Alkali Lake are the Esketemc ("people of Esket"). As of June 2021, the Nation had a total of 1,064 registered members, including 400 residing on their own reserve.
