Huron-Wendat Nation

The Huron-Wendat in an Iroquoian-speaking nation that has occupied the St. Lawrence Valley and estuary to the Great Lakes region. It is a band based in Wendake, Quebec, in Canada. The Nation has two communities and reserves called Wendake 7 and Wendake 7A. In the French language, used by most members of the First Nation, the band is known as the Nation Huronne-Wendat. Huron-Wendat Nation has 4,448 registered members as of November 2021, with 1,462 living on reserve.
