About
Island Lake First Nation (Ministikwan Indian Reserve) is a Cree First Nation in Saskatchewan. The band's reserves include Ministikwan 161 and Mistikwan 161A. The 11,120.6-ha reserve is located 161 km northwest of North Battleford. Island Lake First Nation has 1,139 members and 807 live on the reserve. The band entered Treaty 6 in 1876.
