About
Kanaka Bar First Nation, also known as T'eqt''aqtn'mux, is a Nlaka'pamux Nation located at Kanaka Bar, British Columbia, Canada. It is between the towns of Boston Bar and Lytton in the Fraser Canyon region. The band is a member of the Fraser Canyon Indian Administrationation and the Nicola Tribal Association. The language that is spoken by the members of the band is Nlakapamchin. As of June 2021, the Nation had 237 registered members, including 60 residing on their own reserve.
