Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation is an Algonquin community located in Maniwaki, Quebec. The Kitigan Zibi Anishinabe reserve was formally established in 1851. The reserve is bounded by the Eagle River along its west side, by the Désert River on the north side, and the Gatineau River on the east side. The people's native language is Algonquin. As of November 2021, the registered population of the First Nation is 3,673 members, of whom 1,620 live on the Kitigan Zibi reserve.
