About
The Klahoose First Nation is a band whose traditional territories are located on Cortes Island at the northern end of the Strait of Georgia and surrounding Toba Inlet, in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. Klahoose, the main Village for the Nation, is located at Squirrel Cove on Cortes Island. The First Nation is a member government of the Naut'sa mawt Tribal Council and the native language of the people is Éy7á7juuthem. As of July 2021, the Nation had 433 registered members, including 67 residing on their own reserve.
