The Kwakiutl First Nation, also known as the Fort Rupert Band, is a First Nations band based on northern Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. It is near Port Hardy in the Queen Charlotte Strait region. The band is a member of the Kwakiutl District Council and the native language of the people is Kwak̓wala. As of July 2021, the Nation had 862 registered members, including 325 residing on their own reserve.
