About
The Kwanlin Dün First Nation is a band located in and around Whitehorse in Yukon, Canada. It is the largest First Nation in Yukon and its traditional territory extends from Marsh Lake to Lake Laberge, along the Yukon River. Linguistically, the Kwanlin Dün band is affiliated with the Southern Tutchone Tribal Council. The Kwanlin Dün First Nation includes people of Southern Tutchone, Tagish Ḵwáan, and Tlingit descent. As of May 2021, the Nation has a total of 1,017 registered members, including 552 living on their own crown land and six residing on their own reserve.
