The Lake Cowichan First Nation and reserve are located in Lake Cowichan, British Columbia. The First Nation, while its own distinct group, is closely linked to the peoples of the Cowichan Tribes band, and is part of the Hul'qumi'num linguistic group. The First Nation has roots in the Dididaht group of tribes. As of June 2021, the Nation had a total of 26 registered members, including 14 residing on their own reserve.
