The Lyackson First Nation is a First Nations band located at Chemainus, British Columbia, Canada, on Vancouver Island. The band has three Indian Reserves, all on Valdes Island: Lyacksun Indian Reserve No. 3, Porlier Pass Indian Reserve No. 5, and Shingle Point Indian Reserve No.4. The band is associated with the Hul'qumi'num Treaty Group. The languages spoken by the people include Halq'eméylem, hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓, and Hul’q’umi’num’. As of June 2021, the Nation had a total of 223 registered members, including 14 residing on their own reserve.
