Mississaugas of Scugog Island is an Ojibwa First Nation in south-central Ontario, Canada. It is located near Lake Scugog in Durham Region. The people speak the Mississauga language. The current First Nation lands on Scugog Island is estimated to be 800 acres at the north end of the peninsula, just east of Port Perry. The total registered population as of May 2021 is 252, with 48 people living on their own reserve.
