Nak’azdli Whut’en is a non-treaty First Nation located adjacent to Fort St. James, British Columbia. It has eighteen reserves in total in and around Fort St. James. Most people live on Indian Reserve (IR) #1 which is separated from Fort St. James by Kwah Road. Its native language is Dakelh and it is a member of the Carrier Sekani Tribal Council. As of July 2021, the Nation had 1,987 registered members, including 708 residing on their own reserve.
