Nooaitch Indian Band

Nooaitch First Nation is a Nlaka'pamux First Nation band in the Southern Interior region of British Columbia, Canada. It is a member of the Scw’exmx Tribal Council and the Nicola Valley Tribal Nation. The Nooaitch First Nation reserve community and offices are located at 2954 Shackelly road, Merritt, the main urban centre in the Nicola Country region between the Lower Mainland and Kamloops. The band has two reserve bases totaling 1693.4 hectares, namely Nooaitch Grass 9 and Nooaitch 10. The native language of the people is Nłeʔkepmxcín. As of June 2021, the Nation had 237 registered members, including 106 residing on their own reserve.
