About
The Nuxalk Nation is the band of the Nuxalk people of Bella Coola, British Columbia. It has seven reserves with a reserve land area of 2,025.90 ha. The First Nation is a member of the Oweekeno-Kitasoo-Nuxalk Tribal Council and the people have traditionally spoken the Nuxalk language. As of August 2021, the Nation had a total of 1,777 registered members, including 912 residing on their own reserve.
