Pasqua First Nation

Pasqua First Nation is a Saulteaux-Cree First Nation in southern Saskatchewan, Canada. The band is located 60km northeast of Regina and 15 km west of Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan. Its reserves include Last Mountain Lake 80A, shared with 6 other bands, Pasqua 79, and Treaty Four Reserve Grounds 77, shared with 32 other bands. The band is named for Chief Paskwa (Pis-qua), who was a negotiator and signatory to Treaty Four on 15 September 1874. His death in 1889 left the First Nation leaderless for 22 years. 

The band's reserve currently has an area of 8,960.3 hectares (22,141 acres), and approximately 264 hectares (653 acres) is valley land. Pasqua First Nation has approximately 2,000 band members, and around 69% of the membership live off-reserve.
