Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation is an Asinīskāwitiniwak (Rocky Cree) First Nation in northern Saskatchewan. The administrative centre of the Nation is Pelican Narrows. Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation is a Woodland Cree First Nation comprising of eight communities, including Amisk Lake, Deschaumbault Lake, Kinoosao, Pelican Narrows, Prince Albert, Sandy Bay, Southend, and Sturgeon Landing. The dominant language spoken by members of the Nation is the Woodland Cree “th” dialect.
