Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation is a First Nation in southern Manitoba and is located approximately one hour south of Winnipeg. The First Nation has three reserves, which are Roseau River 2, Roseau Rapids 2A, and Roseau River 2B. The main reserve of Roseau River 2 is bordered by the Municipality of Emerson – Franklin and the Rural Municipality of Montcalm, while Roseau Rapids is entirely surrounded by Emerson – Franklin. The band is part of the collective Ojibway of Manitoba. As of June 2021, the Nation has a total of 2,741 registered members, including 1,222 residing on their own reserve.
