The Scia'new First Nation or Becher Bay Indian Band is a First Nations band located on southern Vancouver Island in southwestern British Columbia, Canada. It is 30km southwest of Victoria. As of June 2021, the Nation has a total of 264 registered members, including 102 residing on their own reserve. The band is associated with the Te'mexw Treaty Association and is a party to the Douglas Treaties. The languages spoken by the people include Halq'eméylem, hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓, Hul’q’umi’num’, Lkwungen, Malchosen, Nəxʷsƛ̕ay̓əmúcən, Semiahmoo, SENĆOŦEN, and T’Sou-ke.
