Semiahmoo First Nation

About

Semiahmoo First Nation is a band of the Semiahmoo people, a Coast Salish subgroup. The band's main community and offices are located on the 312 acres (1.3 km2) Semiahmoo Indian Reserve which is sandwiched between the boundary of White Rock, British Columbia, and the Canada–United States boundary and Peace Arch Provincial Park. As of June 2021, the Nation had a total of 104 registered members, including 50 residing on their own reserve. The ancestral languages of the Semiahmoo include Lkwungen, Malchosen, Semiahmoo, SENĆOŦEN, and T’Sou-ke.
