The Shxw'ow'hamel First Nation or Shxw'ow'hamel Band is a band located in the Upper Fraser Valley region near Hope, British Columbia, Canada. Shxw’ōwhámél people are the Stólō and Coast Salish people of the Tiyt [teet] Tribe. The band is a member of the Stó:lō Tribal Council. The Si:yam Council operates collectively and does not elect a single Chief councillor. As of June 2021, the Nation had a total of 209 registered members, including 86 residing on their own reserve.
