Skuppah Indian Band

About

The Skuppah Indian Band is a First Nation near Spuzzum, British Columbia. It is a member of the Fraser Canyon Indian Administration, one of three tribal councils of the Nlaka'pamux people. It is located along the transportation corridor just downriver of the junction of the Thompson and Fraser River(s) at Tl'Kemstin in Lytton. The band has eight reserves totaling almost 246 hectares and its native language is Nłeʔkepmxcín. As of July 2021, the Nation had 133 registered members, including 56 residing on their own reserve.
