Tl'azt'en Nation

About

Tl'azt'en Nation is a First Nations band located along the north shore of Stuart Lake near the outlet of the Tache River, in the northern interior of British Columbia. The two main villages belonging to Tl'azt'en Nation are Tache and Binche. The band's main administrative offices are in Tache. The people's language, Dakelh, is part of the Athapaskan language group. As of July 2021, the Nation had 1,565 registered members, including 457 residing on their own reserve.
