The War Lake First Nation is a band that resides in the Mooseocoot IR reserve. The reserve lies within the boundaries of Ilford, Manitoba. The band has 13 reserves, including Atkinson Lake, Atkinson Lake A, Atkinson Lake B, Atkinson Lake C, Beach Lake, Cyril Lake, Dafoe River, Mooseocoot, Mooseocoot 2, Mooseocoot 3, Mooseocoot 4, Part War Lake B, and War Lake A. As of June 2021, the Nation has a total of 330 registered members, including 102 residing on their own reserve.
