The Whispering Pines / Clinton Indian Band, formerly known as the Clinton Band and also called the Pellt'iq't First Nation, is a band located in the Central Interior region of British Columbia. Its main Indian reserve is located at Clinton, 35km north of Kamloops, on Westsyde Road. The people of the First Nation are known as the Pelltiq't People and their native language is Secwepemctsín. The band is a member of the Shuswap Nation Tribal Council. As of July 2021, the Nation had 197 registered members, including 41 residing on their own reserve.
