About

Whitewater Lake First Nation is a reserve 70 km northwest of Armstrong, 250 km north of Thunder Bay, on the shore of Whitewater Lake, and in the centre of Wabakimi Provincial Park. The band is non-status and a member of the Windigo First Nations Council and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. It is a signatory to 1850's Robinson-Superior Treaty which set aside three Reserves.
