Witchekan Lake First Nation is a Cree First Nation in Saskatchewan, Canada. The band's reserves include Witchekan Lake 117 and Witchekan Lake 117D. Witchekan Lake First Nation originated in 1910.

In the early years, a central lake in the region was desiccated causing the fish to perish. The Cree word for the foul odor produced by the fish is 'Witchekan.' This is how the First Nation got its name. 

Witchekan Lake Cree First Nation band signed Treaty 6 on November 21, 1950. Reserve land for the band totals 6,520.1 ha. The band currently has 578 members, of whom 380 live on the reserve.
